Fire was one of my first disciplines. It lives in

Fire was one of my first disciplines.
It lives in me as muscle memory, exactly the way I learned it.

Up until now, it’s mostly come out as flow.

I’m challenging myself to take that same relationship with fire and shape it into a written, intentional, and scripted show. Something I haven’t done before.

It isn’t new to the world.
It’s new to me, and that’s the point.

I spent my birthday in Kansas City, running a stage and living in my natural habitat. Between the cues and chaos, my phone kept buzzing up all day.

Every message, photo post, tip$, and kind word felt like a tiny offering. I felt seen, supported, and very much part of a community.

Thank you for the birthday love. It made my heart full, my brain soft, and very cozy.

Today I’m home, catching up on life, sipping some coffee that used to be warm. I will be attempting to slowly reply to everyone who took a moment to reach out.

A lot of these photos were lovingly commandeered from folks who attended @worldodditiesexpo Houston, and I am so grateful.

This crew was incredible. I’ve already gotten so many messages and comments from people bummed they missed the show. Which just proves this is absolutely an event you don’t want to skip.

Here’s who you could’ve caught gracing our stage this weekend:

@houstonaztec opened the show with a powerful and rhythmic blessing ceremony. Their dancing, drumming, and shared history gave me chills.

@blackwellmagiccircus kept the energy moving with juggling and knife throwing.

@porcelainfluorite absolutely crushed it as an aerial lobster toooooooo Rock Lobster.

Our artist-in-residence @hottoddlincoln brought a full smorgasbord of sideshow.

If you’ve never seen someone take a stun gun to the sinuses or swallow an LED sword, @threeleggeddogsideshow always delivers.

@the_willy_vodka and his delightfully creepy clown horde kept the show floor on edge.

A packed house and a solid Saturday all around.

They had 4 of us stilt walking, aerialists, giraffe unicycle, juggling, 2 hand balancers, dance squad, bird magic and a dog show?!

This crowd really knew how to party!

Hello, 2026 ✨

It’s wild looking back at past years. The hustle, networking, chasing bookings, filling the calendar a quarter at a time.

Now the year has barely turned over, and most of my weekends are already booked.
I’m letting myself feel good about that. As performers, we all work toward some version of this. It's real nice.

For those who are interested, my goals are pretty achievable. I need some easy wins this year, and overachieving can be nice too.

Most importantly, I'm just trying to be a better creature than I was last year.

This year started out really heavy.
