It's World Circus Day!!!

I have been scrolling through performance photos trying to pick the best one to go with this post, and I discovered there's too many.
Instead, I'm posting a photo from one of the most recent shows I was in.
I was asked to represent Furies Funtime Variety Sideshow at Richmond Fringe Festival Cabaret.
We won Audience Choice 💜

I've been performing for a long time, and I feel like I've only recently found somewhat of a footing in a world that brings me so much inspiration and satisfaction.
It's hard job. I've met and worked with awful people, sustained many injuries, exhausted myself to burnout with a long recovery journey, I've pushed through emotional depletion to fulfill obligations.
However, I've also worked with the most amazing supportive beings, I've traveled to other countries, experienced the most beautiful unique moments, become part of a community, and people have shared that my art has inspired them.
It's just so kewl.
I'm going to keep doing my best to be better. I can't wait to see what experiences I get to share next year.

This is one of my favorite events—it’s all about bizarre, storytelling-focused magic, which is very much my vibe.

I’m especially honored to be recognized in this way. And even more thrilled that this year’s lineup is intentionally spotlighting more LGBTQ+ artists and women in magic. That kind of representation on stage really matters.
